Brian D. Fahey was a loving husband and devoted father. He was a caring son and brother. Brian’s whole life was dedicated to making his family happy but what truly made Brian happy was his life in the fire service. He was a firefighter with New York City’s Rescue Co. 4.
He served as a volunteer with the Hempstead Fire Department Engine Co. 4 and a Deputy Chief instructor with the Nassau County Fire Service Academy.
Brian loved to teach. Through his teaching and caring and willingness‚ he touched so many lives and will be sadly missed. Brian is a true example of how one man can make a difference.
You were a big part of the Hempstead Fire Dept. Training is at its best because of your knowledge & leadership. Everyone at E-4 misses you!!!
