Darin Dean Pasold was born August 7, 1969, in Chadron, Nebraska. He was raised in Crawford, Nebraska.

While in high school, he started his career as a volunteer firefighter. When he moved to Scottsbluff, Nebraska, he worked as a firefighter/EMT. He followed his dream as a wildland firefighter, working for the National Park Service in Hohenwald, Tennessee. He was a lieutenant for the Hohenwald/Lewis County Fire Department for 13 years.

Darin enjoyed storm chasing in Tornado Alley with his best friend, Troy Shoemaker. The love he had for Christmas cannot be described. And then there are the trains. Yes, trains! He loved trains of all sizes. He was proud of his HO-scale model train layout he built in his garage. He was a huge supporter of his son’s Motocross racing. His love for the rodeo started at a young age to become a bullfighting rodeo clown.

Darin passed away on November 27, 2021.

He is survived by his wife, Kessta Pasold; his children, Briane Werner, Ansley Pasold, and Grant Pasold; his father, Dean Pasold; and his sister, Amber Pasold.

Joining him in heaven is his mother, Jean Pasold.
