Darrell D. Staley passed away on July 4‚ 1988. He served on the Evanston Fire Department for 10 1/2 years. Darrell was the kind of man that would step up when he needed to.
Darrell enjoyed playing softball with his friends and his team. But he really loved to spend time with his wife of 13 years and his two daughters‚ who were 6 years old and 5 months old at the time of his death.
He is still very loved by his family and thought of all the time. He has been greatly missed by his wife and his daughters.
It has been twenty nine years since the loss of firefighter Darrell Staley. He was a devoted fireman, husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. The 4th of July always brings a sadness. Still miss him.
