Firefighter Frank Norton Miller, age 31, of the Charleston Fire Department, died on March 4, 1949, when the floor collapsed during a fire at the Woolworth’s Department Store.
Frank is survived by his wife Avis; his two sons Frank Wayne and Don Darrel; his parents Joseph F. and Marie L. Miller; his brother Donald; and his grandmother Mrs. H.N. Miller.
