Assistant Fire Chief  Harold L. Baker, age 40, of  Bristow Fire Department died on February 9, 1983 in a wall collapse during a commercial building fire.

Firefighters Darrel Duke and Kenneth Taylor were also injured in the collapse.

Harold Baker was a 17-year veteran of the department.
