A fire buff at age 8, I used to hang around Station 2 on Summerfield Avenue. I would spend hours there with Gus Agreen, Bob Ward, Dewey Selected and Austin De Von Flint. So much so. Gus gave me Irving’s turn out boots that still had his name painted on them and a firefighter badge. Surprisingly, looking for APFD News and photos, just now I discovered this page,
