James J. Corrigan

James J. Corrigan‚ 60‚ FDNY‚ WTC. A retired fire captain‚ Corrigan was director of the life service for the management of the World Trade Center. He was not in his office in the North Tower when the first plane hit but was last seen assisting with rescue operations in the lobby of Tower One. Corrigan spent 23 years with the FDNY after serving as a police officer for six years.

  1. Marie Corrigan, Family and friends; I hope things are going well for you 20 years later and that you find peace at the rebuilt site. A lot of detail was and is in the area. I was so proud to have worked on the Retired firefighters portion of needed changes. It was long process. A Project, I will Never forget.
