Jason Allen Gouckenour‚ 22‚ a member of the Worthington-Jefferson Volunteer Fire Department‚ died on January 9‚ 1999‚ while battling a house fire. The roof collapsed and trapped this popular firefighter nicknamed ñFrog.î A self-employed diesel mechanic‚ he helped the department transform a tractor-type truck into a 4‚000 gallon tanker.
