Joe A. Stucker Jr., 59, of Fairland, Indiana, passed away on October 17, 2021. He was born in Trenton, New Jersey, on April 29, 1962. Joe was the son of the late Joe A Stucker Sr. and Charlene Fuchs Stucker. Joe married Janet Fisher Stucker on September 7, 1982.

Former Chief Stucker served his hometown community as a member of the Fairland Volunteer Fire Department for more than 35 years. During his time with the department, he was involved in building their new fire station and helped with purchasing several new apparatus. This included his favorite truck, Grass 621, which he was instrumental in designing. Joe was a member of the Indiana Volunteer Firefighters Association.

Joe leaves behind his wife of 39 years; his children, Daniel Stucker, Jessica Jo Pile (Chris), and Bryan Stucker (Krista); grandchildren, Kenedie, Keagan, Madison, Grayson, Cora, and Mia; his mother; and his sister Susan Foizey (Richard). He was preceded in death by his grandparents, father, and an infant brother.

Joe enjoyed attending truck pulls and truck shows and boating and camping on the Ohio River. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Joe departed this earth doing something dear to his heart, supporting and serving his community. Joe is missed by his family and friends.
