  1. I did not know John Clift, Jr. nor do I know his family, However, I am so grateful for his hard work as a firefighter, after working daily as a banker. I am certain the level of courage and responsibility these “double duty” men show to their families and their communities by serving as firemen in addition to their daily jobs has meant the world to those whose lives and homes and businesses were saved. I am grateful for his service.
