Joseph Charles Dupee‚ 38‚ a 17-year Los Angeles City firefighter‚ died on March 8‚ 1998 of smoke inhalation and burns after being trapped in a commercial building when the roof collapsed. He was active in his church‚ driving a bus for the handicapped.
