Mike practically grew up across the street from me. As kids we spent many hours playing different sports and other kid stuff. When we were teenagers he would call me to ride with him in his old Willys jeep before he had his drivers license. he had the blue slip and needed someone that had their license for at least a year. He joined the fire department a few years before me. We fought many a fire together-he was a good firefighter. I still miss him and Doug. You always wonder what things might have been had this tragedy not happened.
