Firefighter Michael J. Arriaga, age 75, of the Fire Department City of New York – Engine 301, died on December 5, 2022, from illness related to response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.

Michael dedicated 38 years to the Fire Department of New York and to the people of New York.

Michael was a U.S. Navy veteran.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Denise; their beautiful daughter, Denise; family, friends, former colleagues at Engine 301, and the emergency crew at Paidge Avenue.
