Mike loved to workout and to go running. He loved the outdoors. He also loved to go biking and hiking in upstate New York. He loved to just relax and play on the computer or watch his favorite movie or DVD. He also loved any kind of video game. He loved to read any kind of book that had to do with the military or the Fire Department. He became a New York City Fire Fighter. He was in the United States Naval Reserves. He was a New York City EMT. He received his scuba diving license. He was also a member of the New York Police Auxiliary Unit. Mike also worked as a track worker and a steel welder for the New York City Transit Authority.

Michael was a natural fire fighter. He lived to be a firefighter‚ a husband‚ and a wonderful father. He lived his life doing what made him happy and that was the way he went out of this life. He will always be my and my children’s hero and our angel.
