Firefighter William E. “Billy” Moreau, age 53, of the Fire Department City of New York – Engine 166, died on March 12, 2008, from illness related to response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.

A resident of West Brighton, New York, he was the beloved husband of Rita (nee Styles), loving father of Allison Moreau and Kimberly Peretz, cherished son of Rosalie and the late Daniel Moreau, dear brother of Melody, Daniel, James, and Patrick Moreau, and the adored grandfather of Joseph and Ashley Peretz.
