Son of
Brendan Cruise

Brendan is currently employed as an EMT with American Medical Response. He has obtained the required 2,000 hours in the field to apply for the Paramedic course at his local community college. Brendan’s lifelong dream is to become a Firefighter/Paramedic, becoming the third-generation civil servant in his family.

During his high school years, Brendan sold tickets door to door to raise money so the football team could purchase summer uniforms. He is active musically in his church and volunteers with the Knights of Columbus and Elks Lodge raising funds for less fortunate children during the holiday season.

Armando Muela, Woodside Fire Protection District Fire Chief (ret) states, “I’ve known Brendan since birth. He is much like his father; likeable, intelligent, and dedicated. I find Brendan to be of solid character, well-liked by his peers, intelligent, and dedicated to becoming a firefighter/paramedic, like his father.”
