Edward has already completed a bachelor’s degree and wishes to further his career goal by completing a master’s degree in business analytics and to pursue a career as a business and data analyst.

As an undergraduate, Edward accomplished in addition to being a full-time student, a role as an executive committee member of the American Marketing Association’s Executive Board, a mentor for an undergraduate student, secretary of the National Leadership and Honors Organization and volunteered at a local church packing food for vulnerable and underserved populations in the community.

Retired firefighter Jeffery Putman, of the Chicago Fire Department, has observed Edward’s growth and development since he was a toddler and despite the challenges and heartache of losing his father, has proven himself a leader and role model. Katina Madden, a supervisor of Edward’s, cites his ability to make informed decisions that align with the company’s goals, his evident dedication to his work and noteworthy interpersonal skills.
