Isabella "Bella" Moya

Bella’s career goal is to become an engineer and teacher. She describes Jacksonville University as her “dream school” because of their outstanding math and engineering programs.

Bella has participated in the fine arts since she was four years old, including dance, theater, band, and chorus. She has performed on stage and has also done tech for musicals. She participates in her church’s annual cemetery walk, where people from the community play saints and talk about their life. Bella has volunteered with a 5K to help raise money for a high school scholarship. She is active with the St. Vincent de Paul Club.

Director of Campus Ministry Joy Gallagher calls Bella “an extraordinary young woman…who strives to honor her father’s memory by the way she lives her life.” She says that Bella uses her considerable talents both for her own growth and to serve others. Those talents include technology, music, and theater. Engineer Robert Repke Jr. describes Bella as hardworking, focused, compassionate, and determined and says she challenges herself with honors level classes.
