Meghan thrives in a challenging academic environment and says that it has been especially rewarding for her to put her knowledge and skills to use during clinicals to positively impact people. Megan and her dad shared a passion for helping others, and pursuing her educational dreams is a way to uphold his legacy.

Meghan volunteers with an exercise program for adults with neurological disorders, providing one-on-one assistance. She is a graduate assistant volleyball coach and has volunteered tutoring university students in Spanish. She previously volunteered with the outpatient physical therapy department at Mayo Clinic Health Systems of La Crosse, where she now works on weekends.

Denise Grabowski, PT, of Mayo Clinic Health System, says that what stands out about Meghan is “her curiosity, friendliness, and willingness to lend a hand in any situation,” and that she will make a great physical therapist.
