Ed Klima

Several months ago the Foundation Board of Directors took steps to create an affiliate organization that would help focus the efforts of the Foundation in reducing line-of-duty deaths and injuries to the first responder community. This action was intended to ensure that the core staff of the NFFF will remain focused on our primary mission to honor all fallen firefighters and to help their survivors rebuild their lives.

The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation is pleased to announce that the First Responder Center for Excellence for Reducing Line of Duty Deaths and Injuries has its first Managing Director. Ed Klima, a retired Fairfax County Firefighter who more recently served as the Public Safety Director for Dover Raceway has accepted the position. Ed will be working closely with Fire Programs and will center his activities from the Crofton site.

Jenna Pritchett

The Foundation is pleased to announce that Jenna Pritchett from Columbia, SC has agreed to join our staff on the Development team, as a Strategic Corporate Outreach Specialist.

Jenna comes to the NFFF from a position with the South Carolina State Firefighters Association, where she held the Marketing Specialist/Community Risk Reduction position. Jenna’s background in Marketing and Communications, as well as her work with CFSI, will provide the Foundation with another valuable resource in our Development division. Additionally, Jenna holds her BA in Communications from University of Tennessee – Chattanooga.

Jenna will be relocating to Maryland, where she will be based out of our Crofton office.
