2026 Fire Hero Family Tree Lighting
Event Details
Each year, during the holiday season, the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation decorates special trees in memory of all fallen firefighters.
The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation transforms the holiday season with a heartfelt tribute to our nation’s fallen heroes during the Fire Hero Family Tree Lighting. Our trees glow with handcrafted ornaments lovingly shared by Fire Hero Families and fire departments from across the country—each one honoring the courage, sacrifice, and legacy of those we remember.
Join us on Friday, December 4, for the Fire Hero Family Tree Lighting. Whether you join us in person or watch from home, you can be part of this meaningful tradition. The ceremony will be streamed live at firehero.org and on Facebook, allowing our extended Fire Hero Family to share in the light of remembrance from wherever they are.
