Sarbanes Award Announced

Senator Paul S. Sarbanes Fire Service Safety Leadership Award

Greater Tucson Fire Foundation (GTFF) has been selected as the recipient of the 2023 Senator Paul S. Sarbanes Fire Service Safety Leadership Award. This annual award is co-sponsored by the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) and the Congressional Fire Services Institute (CFSI), with corporate support from State Farm Insurance and VFIS. It is given to an organization whose actions and achievements address at least one of the 16 Firefighter Life Safety Initiatives.

CFSI and NFFF will present the 2023 Sarbanes Award at the 33rd Annual National Fire and Emergency Services Dinner on May 23, 2023, in Washington, DC.
