2024 Fire Hero Family Winter Retreat
Join the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation for a special Winter Retreat tailored just for Fire Hero Families!
Our Fire Hero Family Winter Retreat will be held at Liberty Mountain Resort in Fairfield, Pennsylvania, and the National Emergency Training Center (NETC) in Emmitsburg, Maryland, on December 4-7, 2024.
At beautiful Liberty Mountain Resort, activities will focus on remembering the past, living in the present, and looking forward to the future with hope. As part of the event, attendees will visit Emmitsburg to help decorate the Memorial site and the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Chapel and will participate in the annual Holiday Tree Lighting.
Travel & Lodging
This event is open to family members of all ages whose firefighters have been honored or approved to be honored at the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
Additional information and group code to book your hotel room will be sent after your registration is approved. Participants are responsible for booking their own hotel rooms from a designated room block.
For the first week registration is open, we will give priority approval to those who have not yet attended this event. After that, we will continue filling spots with both new and returning attendees.
We encourage you to register soon, as space is limited, and this event usually fills quickly.
Fire Hero Family Tree Lighting
If you are not able to attend the full Winter Retreat but would like to attend the Fire Hero Family Holiday Tree Lighting at the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Chapel on Friday, December 6, please register.
The Fire Hero Family Tree Lighting will be also livestreamed on our homepage and the NFFF Facebook page.
