For families who have lost a firefighter in the line of duty, the holidays can be an especially difficult time—a season filled with memories, reflection, and mixed emotions. That’s why the Fire Hero Family Winter Retreat holds such a meaningful place in our mission.

This annual event provides surviving family members with an opportunity to come together in a setting focused on healing, self-care, giving, and fellowship. During the retreat, families participate in activities that encourage reflection and connection, while also finding ways to give back to others during the holiday season.
