Alton was an amazing father. He was proud to serve his country and also the city of Baltimore as s fireman. So much about his life still lives on through my family. He enjoyed working at engine 43. I could not have asked for a better father. I’m grateful for the years he was with my family.
– PamelaAlton Glen Warren and I shared a profound bond while working together at Engine #43 in the Baltimore City Fire Department. From the moment I arrived at the station, he took me under his wing, imparting the essential knowledge and skills I needed. But his influence went far beyond professional guidance; he became a true role model, a close friend, and even a father figure to me.
I was with Alton when he broke his ankle. It was during a basement fire in an apartment complex. As we fought the blaze side by side, Alton fell and broke his ankle. Despite his injury, he was determined to keep fighting alongside me, but I managed to convince him to leave the scene so we could take care of his injury. His courage and dedication were evident in every action, and his mentorship has been a cornerstone in shaping the person I am today.
