The 2023 Men's Retreat — where strength meets compassion and camaraderie.
Join us for the 2023 Men’s Retreat in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Queen City. Known for NASCAR and home to the Carolina Panthers and the Charlotte Hornets! This is a gathering like no other, exclusively for Fire Hero Family Men who are fathers/stepfathers, sons/stepsons, brothers/stepbrothers, and husbands/male life partners of firefighters who have been honored or approved to be honored at the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial.
Throughout this transformative experience, you’ll embark on a journey of self-discovery, renewal, and connection. Engage in powerful discussions, workshops, and activities crafted to ignite your inner fire, inspire personal growth, and strengthen the ties that bind you together.
At the Men's Retreat, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Connect with other Fire Hero Men: Surround yourself with a community of individuals who understand and have experienced a similar loss. Forge lasting friendships that will provide support and encouragement long after the retreat concludes.
- Gain new skills and resilience: Engage in thought-provoking, dynamic discussions and activities led by grief experts that will leave a lasting impact on your life. The shared experiences will provide a supportive environment to address grief and life challenges.
- Find solace, encouragement, and strength: Share laughter, stories, and heartfelt moments with your fellow Fire Hero Family members. Foster bonds and support that will warm your heart for years to come.
- Find fulfillment through service: Our Men's Service Project provides a sense of purpose, satisfaction, and connection with the Queen City and Fire Hero Family communities. This project makes a positive impact on the community, while contributing to personal growth, empathy, and a stronger sense of social responsibility.
Space is limited for this event and registration will be accepted on a first-come, first served basis. Registration will remain open until August 31, or until the event is full.
