Fireman Charles Fitzpatrick, age 40, of the Edinburgh Fire & Rescue in Edinburgh, IN, was responding to an alarm, when his vehicle collided with Chief James Breeding’s vehicle at an intersection. Fireman Fitzpatrick died from the injuries he sustained twelve hours later at an Indianapolis hospital. The call that they were responding to was a false alarm.
