Firefighter Clyde A. Burley was directing traffic at the scene of a vehicular accident on Cash Valley Road when he was struck by an automobile and critically injured. He was transported to the hospital where he died from his injuries on December 24,1991. Firefighter Clyde A. Burley was 74 years old and had served 42 years.
