  1. The firefighters of Macomb County have been deeply affected by the tragic death of David. I and many others were changed forever. David was a good man who was serving his community trying to save the life of another. Even though David has passed he has affected the lives of every Firefighter within Macomb County. The tragic loss of David caused policies and training to occur in to better protect all the firefighters who serve here. The Personal Accountability Report (PAR), Personal Identification Tags (PID Tags), Rapid Intervention Teams (RIT) SOG’s and Mayday policies all were improved because of the sad situation. David may have passed but he is still protecting his community. I know he would be happy about that.
