David Zan Lancaster‚ 24‚ a volunteer with the Elliot Volunteer Fire Department‚ died on November 7‚ 1999‚ as a result of injuries received in a motor vehicle accident while responding to a car fire. A graduate of Holmes Community College‚ he was also a member of the Velma Volunteer Fire Department and the Yalobusha Dive Team.
