Engineer/Paramedic
Age: 56
Year of Death: 2022

Douglas Clemons

Douglas Arthur “Doug” Clemons was born to his parents, Charles A. and Suzann M. Clemons, on January 17, 1966, in Akron, Ohio. From a very early age, while watching the TV show “Emergency,” he decided that he wanted to pursue a career as a paramedic/firefighter.

During his life, Doug attended the Akron Baptist Temple, where he formed a love of God, and that faith continued throughout his life. During high school, Doug played football and ran track. While running a 4×4 relay, his team broke the school record, and it has not been broken yet. After graduating from Ellet High School in 1984, he was offered a job in Winter Haven, Florida, at a funeral home.

While working at the funeral home, he started to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a paramedic. It wasn’t long until he passed his classes and tests and started his dream career as a paramedic. While working as a paramedic, Doug also qualified as an engineer.

Doug leaves to cherish his memory his parents; his fiancée, Krissy; two daughters, Erin and Cindi; two grandchildren, Emily and Eli; brother, Randy; sister, Janelle; and many family members and friends.

As his family, we take comfort in knowing that he passed away doing what he always dreamed of, and he is with his heavenly father and family members who have passed away before him.
