  1. Hello. My name is Kait and today I participated in the 9/11 memorial stair climb in Green Bay, WI. I carried your husband, dad, son, and friends badge with me today as I completed the 110 flights. My spouse is a career firefighter here in Wisconsin, he loves hunting and fishing and being outdoors, just like your loved one did. While reading about him, I felt a certain connection and I am so happy to be able to reach out and tell his family thank you. He made the ultimate sacrifice 15 years ago, and it has not been forgotten. His memory will live on. I have placed his badge in my vehicle and I like to think he knows, and is with me keeping me safe. You continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Much love to all of you.

  2. I had the honor of serving with Jeff on his first assignment in the US Coast Guard on board USCGC CAPE HORN (WPB-95322) out of Rockaway, NY. He was a friend, a shipmate and a brother and like all of his NYFD brethren will never be forgotten.

  6. I was honored to do my first 9/11 climb today and wear Jeff Palazzo badge as I did the 110 flights in San Antonio Tx. I’ve been a career firefighter for only 3 short years but I have been wanting to do a climb for years. The sacrifices made this day 18 years ago will never be forgotten. Forever praying for the families of the fallen. Thank you Jeff for everything you did in your career and that day.

  7. Jeff and I served in the US Coast Guard together. We both worked at USCG Station New York. He was a good man, we were good friends. He was a man of honor, diligence and integrity. He was strong as an Ox. He also loved soup. Every time he spent the night in Staten Island at the CG Station, he would always have soup. I miss him badly and honor his memory.

  8. I’m a police officer in South Carolina. Yesterday I had the honor and privilege to proudly wear the badge bearing the picture of Jeff Palazzo while climbing 110 floors. He will always be remembered.

  9. My 15 year old son, a volunteer firefighter, participated in the 9/11 memorial stair climb today. He carried a badge in honor of Jeff Palazzo up 110 flights of stairs. I wanted to find more information about Mr. Palazzo for my son and for myself, and I found this. I hope the family and friends still read these memorials to know that their loved ones will never be forgotten and will always be considered American heroes. God bless.

  12. My name is Tom Mihich. Yesterday, I had the honor of wearing a photo of Jeffrey A. Palazzo during a remembrance memorial of 110 flight star climb in Northern Virginia. I grew up in New York City and have always felt a connection to the brave men and women that responded to the twin towers on September 11, 2001. As I read about Jeffrey A Palazzo I learned that he was an outstanding husband, dad, friend, co-worker, and all around fabulous person. Rest in peace Jeffrey A. Palazzo.
