Roll of Honor

Josh M. Oliver

Submitted by his Cousin

Josh had only been on the fire department for 4 months. His first love was the fire department. He spent all of his time doing it. He did not die alone – a part of me died that day.

Josh and I were born on the same day. I was three hours and seventeen minutes older than him. We both wanted to be firefighters since the age of two.

I am doing it for the both of us now. I named my son in his memory. Josh you will never be forgotten!

  1. I was Josh’s cousin. We were born the same day. We both were firefighters. I am going on 14 years. We named our son after him. He will be missed. There is now a lot of change at the fire station because of him. He loved fighting fire! It is in the family. We are 3rd generation firefighters. He is and will always be my hero!
