– Lesli MalekiMay all you brave people who lost their lives that horrible day. You will never be forgotten. My son his name is kevin prior.Think of you all every year ireland
– Derek PriorKevin was my uncle and my god father. I was young, only in 1st grade when he gave his life to save the life of complete strangers. All the years that have past have done nothing but strengthen the respect I have for him. He taught me more in the few short years I knew him than my father has in 25 years and for that he is the biggest influence on the man I am today. For that I can only hope he looks down on me from time to time and is proud of me. I am grateful that I was able to spend the time I had with him and I know as long as I live he will live on as the hero he was. I can only hope than anyone who sees this can truly understand that we may not live the best life; we all make mistakes, but it only takes one moment of courage to leave a lasting impression that will give generations to come the courage to be someone who makes a difference. With tears in my eyes and love in my heart I say thank you for everything you gave and continue to give for years to come. I will proudly take you name as my confirmation name and plan to name my first son to continue your story. I have no doubt he will be proud to wear you name and know it comes from great respect and love. I love you Kevin thank you for everything you have thought me and I will continue to try and make you proud.
– John P. Kevin ProorI had the honor of carrying Kevin’s bane today in the tunnel to towers run in Medina, Ohio. Thank you for your service on that horrible day. You will not be forgotten. God bless.

– Mel PEMBERTONOn the eve of the 20th anniversary I light a candle to Kevin as I do every year. We never met but he has place in my heart and I will always remember the courage of the emergency services that day.
Me and my buddy did a Murph today in honor of you Kevin, appreciate your selfless service! You will always be rembered.
– Eric SippelI climbed 11 of 14 laps with this mans name on my chest. When I got tired I looked down at my chest to look at his name and shake my head at his age. 29 years young. The only reason I couldn’t finish the laps was because I had to go coach my kids soccer game. Once again these guys didn’t have a choice. They made the ultimate sacrifice… thank you for your service to your country and I’m so sorry you lost your life.
– Miguel LuceroKevin,
Today I carried the badge at Salt lake river stair climbing they gave me four years ago. This is a fourth-year mark with you. Together we climbed 110 floors in honor of your braveness and selflessness. And we made another 141 floors together to honor my firefighter love and his team members who are struggling to push them each day on the job.
I hope one day to climb with your brothers and sisters in your hometown to honor you.
R.I.P Kevin, see you next year.
