Marco, It’s been 30 years ago Friday. The Hell in the Estates Fire is still clear in my memory. That awful day is as painful and vivid now as if it had just happened only moments ago. Your loss has served me everyday of my career. I learned that day what may happen, and to never turn your back on the beast. I never have.
– Captain Todd OlsonThank You for your Sacrifice.
You will always be remembered.
Captain Todd Olson, Big Corkscrew Island Florida FD (retired) Captain, Phillips Maine FD
Thank for your tender words about my brother Marco A. Miranda . That day was tragic for all involved. The day of the fire is still fresh in my memory. We miss him so much, he was a incredible brother, son, friend and a great man. Love you Marco and I miss you every day.
– Wendy J. GonzalezMarco today is Memorial Day I miss you everyday of my life and I miss you and love you.
– Wendy GonzalezBrother Marco, I miss our days in the U.S. Navy. We had a lot of good times. You were a good friend and so much fun to be around. Still have that pic of you and me taken on your last day on the USS John F Kennedy in January of ‘84. It hangs proudly on my wall. Til we meet again. Luv ya, brother! AD3 Ron D. Megee.
