Thirty years after graduating high school I was speaking to my wife about a high school basketball game. I made a key basket to get our team close against our rival. Right after that I made a turnover that essentially ended the game. Mark Mitchell was an assistant coach for our team. After the game I was visibly upset about the loss. He was the only person that spoke to me in the locker room after the game. He basically said if it wasn’t for me hitting that shot we wouldn’t have had a chance to win the game. He tried to console me and offer encouragement. Rest in peace Coach, love ya man
