Philip P. Cirrito‚ 47‚ a career firefighter with the Merion Fire Company of Ardmore‚ died on June 9‚ 1999‚ after collapsing at the station. He had responded to two structural fires before suffering a fatal heart attack. He had been a volunteer and career member of the fire company for over 25 years.
