– meisenheimer josefYour call to duty maybe over but your mission will never be forgotten. I climbed the stairs to lambeua field in Green bay, Wi in your honor on this very day. We made it to the end today and the bell was rang loud in your honor. May you continue to rest in peace.
– Kari KellarI had the honor to walk for Raymond at the 5th annual Stair Climb at Lambeau Field on September 16, 2017. In honor of him I got to ring the bell in his name when got to the equivalent of the 78 floor and finished to the 110th.
– Paul SkibbieI knew Raymond father and stepmother here in Baltimore and was fortunate enough to realize what wonderful people they both were. I loveed watching the video of Rudy’s wish of a lifetime in which he visited the 9/11 World Trade Center site. In Raymond’s honor I purchased a Big Blue 3 Bronx and Harlem firefighter patch which I proudly display in my home.
– Ira SeidelI was honored to climb the stairs at Lambeau Field on September 11, 2019. I rang the bell for him at the 78th floor and continued on to the 110th. Raymond has been in my thoughts ever since and I am thankful for the sacrifice he and his family has made.
– Lori WilliamsTo the family of Raymond-
Today (9/15/2019) I walked in the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb in Wildwood, New Jersey. I wore a tag with Raymond’s picture on it and climbed in honor of him. I know years have passed but I want you to know that his and your family’s sacrifice is not forgotten. Even though he never saw out his retirement, his commitment and bravery on 9/11 grant him that retirement. God bless you.
– Devon BellI have the honor of climbing for Raymond in Sioux Falls. SD on Sept 21, 2019 at the Step Up for Heroes memorial stair climb.
– Kathy RediniusI will have the honor of climbing 110 flights in the honor of Raymond Meisenheimer this coming Friday, September 11, 2020! – Mike WhalenI pray that God’s Grace shines upon your Family and Friends, those left to carry on….May God Bless you and my He Bless your Family…
Ray was a student of mine in Tooker Avenue School, West Babylon NY. I know that his father was also a member of a fire department –when Ray was a student at Tooker Ave School, the local fire dept came over for an educational demonstration and I remember so well that Ray, standing in line with his class, was waving at his father with pride. I have a yearbook from Tooker Ave School 1962-63 which I would like to pass on to his family if wanted.
– Geraldine H RoddaI had the honor to climb the stairs of Lambeau Field for this fallen firefighter on September 11, 2021, the 20th anniversary. Raymond’s sacrifice will not be forgotten!
– Amy Thiel#NEVERFORGET
I rode with Ray on Rescue 3 on many occasions as a ride along, from 1989 until 2001. Ray was a Brother, and treated me with utmost respect coming from California to learn from the best, at FDNY, and he also grilled me on wildland firefighting and how the fire service operated quite differently in the Western US. I loved this man as a Brother due to our continued connection until his death in the WTC Killing in 2001.
– Donald M. ForsythMy name is Charisse Hobbs, Today I have the honor of wearing your name and picture during the Tower 2 Tunnels 5k in Washington state. Thank you for your ultimate sacrifice.
– CharisseI climbed for him in Sept. 2022 at State College, Pennsylvania. He was so close to retirement. Sad. I will remember him as I enjoy my own retirement.
– R EchardRaymond Meisenheimer is my grandpa but because of the stupid people that went into the planes and flew them he is not here. I really think that I deserve him to be here and he has no reason to not be here. It is not fair to anyone or their families who have died because of them. He deserves to be here and so does everyone else that died or from cancer from 9/11. Them and their family’s don’t deserve that at all.
– KinsleyRaymond M. Meisenheimer, I was not fortunate enough to meet you on this Earth, but we memorialized you and I walked a lap in your honor and memory. Prayers and love sent your way and gratitude for your sacrifice for our country and the lives of others
