Scotty Adams was born in Richmond, Indiana, on February 21, 1979. He was one of four boys. He grew up a hard worker, milking cows and baling hay before school, with his payment being a drink and a Moon Pie. He enjoyed messing around with cars, trucks and was part of local car clubs in his free time.
Scotty had two children, Mallory and Zachary, and three stepsons, Easton, Myles, and Bryce. He also had six grandsons, Westin, Kanon, Crew, Jaxon, Lennox, and Hendrix.
He was a truck driver and a firefighter for nearly 20 years. Dedicating as much time to volunteer firefighting as he did to work, he received as many certifications as possible to master his skills at being the best first responder.
He loved playing tricks on his family and friends and living life to the fullest. There was never a dull moment with him around. He didn’t know a stranger and always became quick friends with anyone he met.
Later in life, Scott went back to school to get his diploma so he could enroll in classes to become an EMT. He didn’t just get his EMT but became an AEMT and enjoyed assisting in classes at Redline Rescue Academy, helping other students reach their goals in the little free time he had.
He was selfless and caring and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He always served any community he was part of with the utmost respect. He will always be remembered for his big heart, sideways smirk, and silly little harmless pranks.
