I was an eight-year-old boy inside the house that was burning that night. My two sisters and I were the only ones home and we got out all right. Mr. Petman was the only fatality. As I’ve grown older–I’m 71 now–I often find myself thinking about him. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the Memorial Wall for him.
