Walter Minich died January 31‚ 2005‚ when he suffered a heart attack while preparing to respond to an emergency medical call.
A 48-year veteran‚ he served in many roles with the company over the years‚ including assistant chief‚ vice president‚ and director. He was a devoted driver who missed few calls up to the time of his death. Walter was the chairman of the department
