Michael Walker joined the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation in July 2026 as Corporate Relations Officer. He brings extensive experience in nonprofit fundraising, corporate partnerships, and community engagement. Before joining NFFF, Michael served as Senior Manager of Corporate Relations for Habitat for Humanity New York City and Westchester County, where he managed a portfolio of more than 100 corporate partners and developed meaningful opportunities for companies and their employees to support the organization’s mission. Earlier in his career, he worked with First Tee programs in Texas and New Jersey, building community partnerships and expanding access to youth development programs through golf.
Originally from Texas, Michael’s commitment to service began through Scouting, where he earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He also played cello growing up and participated in a Dallas Symphony Orchestra youth program. These experiences helped shape his appreciation for teamwork, mentorship, and giving back to the community.
Michael lives in West Hartford, CT with his wife and son. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family!
