Carroll County provides a 100% real property tax credit for the surviving spouse of a fallen law enforcement officer or rescue worker under the authority granted under Section 9-210 of the tax-property article of the Annotated Code of Maryland.

The 100% tax credit may be applied for up to 5 tax years.
