Erin is pursuing a degree in Political Science and Law, with the ultimate career aspirations of building a career in politics or working for the government. Erin is incredibly passionate about working for the people that she feels so strongly about advocating for that cannot always advocate for themselves.

Erin has dual-enrolled in community college for the last two years while participating in Show Choir at her high school and taking part in seven theater productions over the last four years. This while maintaining a 3.8 GPA, chairing the county’s youth board against substance abuse and playing field hockey throughout her high school career. In addition, Erin volunteers yearly at the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend and is involved with the Light the Night campaign for the town of Gettysburg while also lobbying for legislation to prevent other line of duty deaths similar to her father’s.

Frederick County Division of Fire & Rescue Services Fire Chief, Thomas E. Coe says that Erin is an intelligent, engaged and caring young lady who thrives in both scholastic achievement and extracurricular involvement. One of Erin’s teachers speaks about her motivation, patience, and positive demeanor. These skills are spoken of Erin in both of her recommendation letters provided by Fire Chief Coe and Spanish teacher Tara Phillips.
