Step-Daughter of
Jillian Campbell

Jillian is currently a freshman attending Mary Baldwin University pursuing her associate degree in social work. Her career goal is to obtain her degree and serve as a social worker for veterans or with persons in rehab.

She works part-time to help pay her college costs and student loans. Through her college’s social work program, Jillian helped to feed the Staunton community on November 17, 2022, where they prepared Thanksgiving meals for those in need. In high school, Jillian participated in chorus and other various clubs while working a part-time job.

Business/Marketing teacher Windy Glahn says, “I find Jillian to be very attentive and eager to learn. She is a highly ambition person with a great intellectual acumen.” Adds high school Science teacher Amanda Fordyce, “Losing her stepfather at such a young age, Jillian strived to honor his memory and assisted with caring for her younger sister. Her actions encompass her stepfather’s spirit and quest to serve others, making her a deserving recipient of your esteemed scholarship.”
