Kensley remains determined to forge a career path to honor her father and his example that he set for her. She shares that her Foundation scholarship awards have allowed her to remain focused on her academics and maintaining her GPA without stressing over significant financial debt to obtain her education. Her career goal is to find work as a diagnostic medical sonographer. Kensley’s personal goals are to work hard, never give up, to make her family proud, and to establish a secure financial future for herself.
Kensley has not had the opportunity to volunteer in her community due to being a full-time student and working full-time to contribute toward her family’s living expenses. She plans to volunteer in her community after she graduates to pay it forward.
Kensley’s high school counselor states, “I have seen her flourish academically and in her extracurricular activities. Kensley is a positive role model to her peers, works hard in all that she does and has maintained good grades while working a full-time job.”
