Kieran is enrolled at Colorado State University and is pursing education that will allow him to have a career in criminology. He played football in high school, maintaining all academic requirements to be eligible to play. Kieran is also a past camper of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation Comfort Zone Camp in Memory of Hal Bruno.

In addition to being a full-time student, he works a full-time job. Kieran realizes the stress this puts on him academically and financially and is hopeful that selection to receive a scholarship will put him in a better position to study more and graduate with a better GPA.

He strives to do his best work and has a long-range plan for his future. This semester has not been easy when he suffered an injury and a personal loss in his family, yet he never complains. He has a bright future ahead of him.”
