Patrick feels that his father’s death on 9/11 has heavily impacted his entire life to include his goal of working in the cybersecurity field. During his sophomore year, he began a business with two friends and spends approximately 15 per week on business communications, details, organization, and meetings to support the business. Patrick has since added some business classes to his studies and is hopeful to launch their product in the fall of this year.
He shares that he belongs to a very responsible fraternity, and he learns a lot from the people he has surrounded himself with. Patrick and his fraternity brothers play sports together and participate in local volunteer charity events. When he is home, he is a volunteer coach for a local youth flag football and basketball league.
Retired FDNY Firefighter, and family friend, James Finn recalls, “Patrick is respectful, smart, and powerful. He has grown into a responsible young man with a strong work ethic, as evidenced by starting his own business two years ago while balancing his academic career and maintaining a good GPA.”
