2019 FDIC 9/11 Memorial Stair ClimbTake the steps of the Lucas Oil Stadium to honor the memories of the 343 members of FDNY who bravely gave their lives trying to save others on September 11, 2001.

Join the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) at the 2019 FDIC 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at the Lucas Oil Stadium on Friday, April 12, 2019. Participants will climb the stairs multiple times for a total of 110 stories, representing the number of floors in the Twin Towers.

The registration fee of $35 will be waived for members of the media who would like to join in the climb. Everyone will receive a photo ID of one of the fallen heroes of September 11th. Check-in will be from 9:00 am-1:00 pm at the Lucas Oil Stadium, with opening ceremonies at 1:00 pm and the climb at 1:30 pm.

“The 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb is an opportunity for anyone in the community to demonstrate respect and admiration for these courageous men who gave their lives trying to save others. It’s also a way to show their loved ones that we will never forget them,” said National Fallen Firefighters Foundation Executive Director Ron Siarnicki. “We want to be sure that each of those firefighters is represented by someone climbing the stairs at the Lucas Oil Stadium.”

This stair climb benefits the FDNY Counseling Services Unit and the programs provided by the NFFF to support the families of our nation’s fallen firefighters. For more information about the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climbs and the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, go to memorialweek.wpengine.com.
