The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) is proud to partner with film distributor Oscilloscope on the release of their new film SILO on May 7th. The creators of this upcoming motion picture, inspired by true events, will be donating five percent (5%) of the price from the rental of the film to the NFFF.

SILO

SILO follows a harrowing day in an American farm town. Disaster strikes when teenager Cody (Jack DiFalco) becomes the victim of a grain entrapment accident. Family, neighbors, and first responders must put aside their differences to rescue him from drowning in the 50-foot-tall silo where corn quickly turns to quicksand. Shedding light on an issue plaguing rural America, SILO shows how dangerous modern farming can be, while also highlighting the ways in which communities’ band together to look after one another.

This film also stars Jeremy Holm, who is best known for portraying ‘Nathan Green’ on the Golden Globe© nominated Netflix series “House of Cards” and as ‘Mr. Sutherland’ on the Golden Globe© winning USA series “Mr. Robot”. Jeremy has been instrumental in supporting the NFFF in many ways, including participating in stair climbs and attending other fundraising events.

Every dollar given to the NFFF goes directly towards supporting programs, honoring and remembering America’s fallen firefighters, assisting their families in rebuilding their lives, and working with the fire service community in preventing firefighter deaths and injuries.

We are excited to partner with Oscilloscope to bring attention to the dangerous work of farming, while showing the nation the commitment to service of America’s volunteer firefighters,
says Chief Ronald Siarnicki, Executive Director of the NFFF.
